60 Years of Woods
This year, the Design House of Cole & Son Wallpaper’s and Artisan Tiles & Interiors are celebrating 60 Years of the iconic ‘Woods’ wallpaper design with the launch of the new Contemporary Collection. Cole & Son manufacture stunning eccentric wallpapers that are inspired by British interior designs of the past with contemporary touches.
The 60th Diamond Anniversary of the house’s iconic Woods has become an iconic design in the Cole & Son Wallpaper portfolio, ever since it was first launched in 1959. Woods celebrates the elegant simplicity of the birch tree. The timeless design has become a much-loved wallpaper of those who love Cole & Son’s wonderful wallpaper designs.
The Window Display
To celebrate the occasion, we curated a new window display for our Blackpool based showroom! Using our favourite colourway of the ‘Woods’ wallpaper – a soft white and grey – to showcase striped design. With the addition of some other colour coordinated wallpapers bunched standing upright, a small light tree, and the Cole & Son champaign prop they kindly provided, the display was set. Finally, we placed the gold display print across our window and switched on the lights to finish it off!
