Fylde Coast Accident Repair Centre

Fylde Coast Accident Repair Centre Ltd (ARC) is a leading car accident and repair centre based in Blackpool, that has recently moved to new modern purpose-built premises just off Amy Johnson Way. This impressive new build gave us the perfect opportunity to use a fantastic range of porcelain tiles that suit the contemporary industrial location perfectly!

These floor tiles are manufactured in a variety of sizes and finishes, but we believed the 75x75cm semi-polished finish was ideal for this project. By using a floor tile with an oxidised metal effect, it provides an industrial aesthetic that remains contemporary, keeping in line with its commercial surroundings. Once polished, the new sugar glazed finish reverses the slip resistant effect on this floor tile, providing a high R10 anti-slip finish that’s practical for the workspace. It’s also extremely durable, making it able to take on heavy walking traffic.

As you can see from the images, the bathroom tiles selected are from the same range as the floor tiles. However, these provide a more oxidised style as it is a natural glazed finish allowing the rust effect to really come through. We used the 60x30cm porcelain tile for the continuity and practicality it offers. For service area toilets, a classic white metro tile was paired with grey grout for a clean finish and general ease of maintenance.

These tiles have ticked all the boxes for this project with ARC. The porcelain metallic effect wall and floor tiles give a simple yet stylish finish while remaining practical in a mechanical workplace. We are sure these tiles will be aesthetically pleasing for both their clients when visiting the premises.

It was great to work with ARC on their stunning new build operations centre. If you would like to find out more about this company or have any enquiries visit: arcblackpool.co.uk
