Poulton | Residential

Working with clients on a project like this was like a dream come true! This stunning new build, located near Poulton le Fylde centre, boasts a beautiful open, free-flowing downstairs space and a structural design full of character. When it came to selecting tiles, the ground floor required a neutral canvas to work with and the bathrooms needed to keep in line with the colour scheme yet also have a flair individuality. Overall, the finish is incredibly impressive!

As you enter through the front door, you are greeted by beautifully realistic ash wood effect porcelain tile that runs throughout downstairs. The ash wood effect flooring offers natural touch while simultaneously acting as a neutral canvas for the interiors. The tile was also selected for its practical suitability, as it has a grip R10 slip rating thanks to its textured realism. This makes it the perfect choice for areas that may get wet such as the hallway, living room and kitchen. Moving on to the downstairs utility, a Caliza stone effect tile with a matte finished was selected for the floor, which continues into the bathroom. In here, a matching wall tile and a 3D textured mosaic effect wall tile is paired, adding various textures to the room.

In the upstairs bathroom, a unique fabric effect tile in grey and white is fitted on the floor and walls. Lines of ‘silk thread’ run throughout the tile. Also, as light touches the surface it enhances the finish. The tile continues to showcase the style and colours of the house, while maintaining its individuality. In the ensuite, a dark grey concrete effect porcelain tile with a semi-polished finish was used along the walls and floor. The large 40×80 cm format with black grout provides a stunning minimalistic finish. On the adjacent wall, an oxidised metal effect tile was selected to add depth and texture to the room.

Congratulations to our client with their home. It was a pleasure to work with them on such a beautiful project! If you would like to find out more about the project or the tiles used, please get in touch.
